This book has a lot of kissing and holding hands but that is all until they are married. It was kind of fun to read. We don't know who the real identity is of the Highwayman of Tanglewood is until the very end. I tried to guess but it was tricky. He is kind of like Robin Hood and wears a mask to protect his identity. He robs from the snobby rich and gives it to the poor. A lovely chambermaid falls in love with the highwayman and he with her. She is always trying to guess who he is but never does so it is quite a shock when she finds out his true identity in the end. There is heroic sword battles and lots of horses and fun old things like that. Loved it! If you are looking for romance and silliness but don't want to read a steamer then this is a quick read.
