This book was long...maybe because it was a book about a lady named Abby Deal that never saw her dreams come true and lived over 80 years. It takes place in the late nineteenth-century Nebraska.
Abby Deal was brave and a wonderful mother. She sacrificed everything for them and they didn't even care. It seems each generation gets greedier and further from the basics of life.
I think the book was a bit long and descriptive but maybe I am just one of the people in our generation that needs to be entertained with action and quick sound bites.
